Getting drivers from Netgear's site is no better than running from the CD, after installing, both tell me that the adapter is not inserted. I've tried several other online solutions with no success on any of them, so if someone has any information on how to get this actually working, that would be really great. Hello there, Just a thought did you download the 64-bit drivers, as mine is the same PCI card but 32-bit and mine works fine. But if you have the right drivers try taking the card out and replacing it maybe that some of the contacts are tarnished and breaking the connection to the motherboard. Hope this helps. Regards Paul. I'm running Windows 7(x64). Instead of trying to install netgear immediately, put the disc in, go to my computer, open the drive it is in, see if there are drivers for 64 bit operating system. Don`t forget win7 needs you to be an Administrator to install 3rd party drivers. I have installed drivers to run in older versions. Also find TP-Link to be an excellent substitute.
